I have read online people purchased mspnp2 for 700 dollars, and i seem to only find it for 800 online. also none for sale on craigslist nor ebay that i could find. could people be mentioning a price for an earlier model megasquirt? i plan on installing megasquirt to learn how to use the software, and turbo furthur down the road.

$700 was about the price of the earlier Gen 1.

You want the mspnp2 anyways, its much better

 

or build your own, or have someone build one for you.
