Default bungtastic

I'm setting up individual runner water injection. I saw Joe P's thread where he just tapped the IM. I want something a little more sturdy and am considering JB welding some bungs to the IM. What bungs should I get? I am having difficulty finding a good source of bungs. I also can't figure out what ******* thread pitch and size to get. Any ideas? I have aquamist stuff.

Aquamist nozzles are M8 fine why you think JB welding them in is sturdier than a tap is beyond me though..

Oh wait your avatar....

P.S. Aquamist sell an adaptor which is 3/8's IIRC,

I thought your car wasn't even running. Shouldn't you fix that first?

This is what you want. Apparently now available in 1/8 NPT outside thread to adapt your nozzles.

That's the one I meant, 1/8 not 3/8

Faceflora, why would a JBwelded in bung be anymore secure than a tapped bung?

BTDT

https://www.miataturbo.net/methanol-water-injection-22/water-injection-stealthy-approach-47844/

There's plenty of meat on the IM to hold the nozzles.
(oh, and, a drill works better than a sawzall, too.)

Well. It would be more secure because I did not know that bungs were tapped.

I thought you had to weld them on.
