I recently purchased a miata with a DevilsOwn kit installed and it is blowing the fuse every time the pump turns on. I have checked and double checked and there are no shorts to ground anywhere. I checked on the DevilsOwn website and saw that they recommended a 15a fuse, so I switched that out and it still blew.

Any thoughts on what could be causing this?

Bad pump.

 

Yeah I just took the pump apart and it was all rusty inside, so I cleaned it out and reassembled it and it seems to have fixed the problem.
