Default Water/Methanol Injection Logs and Dyno sheets

Post up any logs or dyno sheets you have while using water injection. Give a brief descprition of they system you are using as well as the specs of your engine/turbo setup. I'll start it off. Not a Miata but still shows what sort of gains can be made.

Audi S4 2.7 Bi-Turbo K04/RS6 Hybrid Turbos, 22 psi, 91 octane, 5000ft above sea level. Devils Own Progressive Controller with dual 5 gph nozzles. All pulls made in 3rd gear. Ambient temps around 65 degrees.

Blue is the latest results after more tuning.
Dark Purple is with a little tuning
Pink is the from the earlier posted logs. 0 tuning.
Red is no water injection

In my experience, the best intercoolers don't even come close to what a little water and/or methanol injected into the engine can do.

Be skeptical all you want, but you don't know what you're missing

I would advise you to keep your "peeps" away from your car.

I don't know of any dyno plots before/after for a Miata, but I'll make a point to do that when I get around to dyno my car. I'm also very curious about the results before/after a freer-flowing DP and exhaust vs. my present stock greddy + mufflerless stock piping setup.

I will be making before and after dyno plots this saturday at a dyno day. Both runs will have the WI running, BUTTTTTTT one run will be with the regular safe timing from the sticky in the MS forum that Al Hunos made. The second one will have my timing increases with the WI.

Its a dyno day so I wont really get to do any tuning, ill just be switching premade maps. All the timing tuning I have done thus far is street tuning. I just added 3* at 6psi and up since I got my mbc today. The butt dyno says HOLY ****! I wish I wasnt still running stock exhaust :-P

The results won't be any different on the Miata as any other car.. They all work the same!

i installed a AIS kit in my car and it was 105 deg out side, i have not tuned the kit but i have a 3gph nozzle set to turn on at 10 psi at the full 150psi pump pressure and it makes a big difference it feels like my car was running on a cool 70 deg day it just pulled hard all the way to red like from 0 - 100 and i had no knock shown in my link. then i turned the boost up to 15 psi and again my car pulled hard all the way to red line in all 4 gears with no knock. on the same set up with the meth off i would get knock at 12 psi and my car would feel weak. i will be going to the dyno soon to re tune my car to get the most out of the meth system.

Are u running A fmic What AIT's are you getting the 3gph nozzle at 150 psi suports about 230 or so whp with out an IC. Knowing your limits or wether u are spraying to much depends on this, becouse if the FMIC is doing a good job before u can back that stuff off and gain alil hp.
