Engines are covered by a 90 day warranty once delivered, except when used for racing / boost applications.

FedEx is telling me I have to pay a 25% tariff on the engine and fill out an H7 form, is this correct?

So, I am still waiting to find out all the details. FedEx told me they pay the tariff and I have to pay them. Once I know everything, I will update.

UPDATE: engine cleared customs and was delivered yesterday. I did not have to fill out any forms. I am still waiting to see about the tariff, but I am starting to suspect that the guy at FedEx did not know what he was talking about.

 

Makes sense now. Usually any item that is required to pay import taxes for is held until required payment is made.
FYI to our customers this was the first time a shipment of ours allegedly had import taxes required for. We are looking into any tariff code changes in recent times.
