swear, i've sat here for an hour almost and just can't see myself wrenching it apart, it would go against everything i've worked for on this thing, and even though i know i can make a few grand more doing it, it's the principle of it...that i'm fighting against. Yesterday i drove the car all day, shopping for groceries, checked out a car show, etc...
it would be bad juju and worse karma for me to disassemble it

i think if someone showed up with $11,500 right now i would give.

I feel for you man. Timing really sucks. I paid 11000 for a turbo miata here in cali with not even a quarter of the stuff you have on this car a month ago. I would have flown out there in a heartbeat and bought yours for what you are asking. It would be a total shame to part this amazing machine out. Just put it in storage. You will be way happier with your decision in the long run. There are plenty of parts I would love off this car but I would rather see it stay intact. Good luck either way man. Just had to put my two cents in.

i've turned down 2 offers of 11K in this past year.

 

We talked before. I am working feverishly to get my brother in Atlanta to buy this thing. He has cash. He is about to pull trigger on a new SLK (SL-GAY) so I am fighting an uphill battle here. BUT I am trying m8, this car deserves to LIVE!

 

Tell your brother there is a vibrant group of turbo Miata junkies up here in Atlanta that will be more than happy to help him with this car should he ever need it. Personally I'd love to see this car come local. I've contemplated hard about picking this up, but five Miatas just doesn't make sense

 

I would love to have many parts here. I agree, put it away or sell the whole thing. It would be a shame otherwise.
