To get the variable TPS that you need for better tuning of your MS or other ECU on your 1.6 Miata, there are a few ways to go. But, this is the only way to do it with simple bolt-on factory Mazda parts. The auto TPS is a VTPS. It will NOT bolt onto a manual throttle body, so you need the whole automatic throttle body. It is a direct bolt-on replacement for the manual throttle body with the same ISC, only the TPS and how the TPS mounts is different.

So, I remember reading this before. The auto throttle body will just bolt right on to either the auto or manual intake manifold right? So, I've got the manual 1.6 setup right now with the do-nothing tps, I can just unbolt my throttle body and bolt this on and I'm good to go, same connector and everything?

If so, I'll take it for $60 shipped.

Yeah, there is no "auto or manual" intake manifold. All the same.
