When CX racing first introduced these kits, there was a lot of speculation of if they were garbage or not. Construction looked to be robust for a cheap kit, and several said they would be guinea pigs but I never saw any empirical results.

Did the jury ever reach a verdict? Does the manifold hold up?

honestly though if you pick this up and throw in a ebay cast iron manifold what keeps it from being a bad kit? In the past the manifold was always the weak point with everything else being passable.
