I bought it used. I used it to run my stock 1.6 with the wide band and cx racing kit. Had no issues with it. Any specific information you are looking for

Hard to belive but it was installed started to make sure it would start and had no leaks let it idle for 30 to 45 min turned it off and has sat since. Decided to do a v8 instead.

OK, I have to ask.

When CX racing first introduced these kits, there was a lot of speculation of if they were garbage or not. Construction looked to be robust for a cheap kit, and several said they would be guinea pigs but I never saw any empirical results.

Did the jury ever reach a verdict? Does the manifold hold up?

No. They break either when you install them or a month later. Pretty consistently.

Especially with a kinked oil line like that.

Even the new, thicker ones? or are you just remebering the "old" manis?

Its a restrictor, thats how the ballers do it.

It has been tested a thousand times over and failed a thousand times or more, this was just last night. How they still sell them is beyond me.
