Won't ship wideband? :(

Details on the MS? 1.6? What setup is it built for?

Twiztedmiata 08-14-2015 01:50 PM

I bought it used. I used it to run my stock 1.6 with the wide band and cx racing kit. Had no issues with it. Any specific information you are looking for

That oil feed routing almost looks OEM nice work.

Hump day price drop

deezums 08-20-2015 03:00 AM

How in the tits did I miss this?

I actually 100% believe that this has never been more than idles, lawl

$600 is a super sweet deal for this killer setup

Twiztedmiata 08-20-2015 09:55 AM

Hard to belive but it was installed started to make sure it would start and had no leaks let it idle for 30 to 45 min turned it off and has sat since. Decided to do a v8 instead.

MotoCARR 08-20-2015 10:15 AM

If you decide to ship, you have a buyer :)

julezer 08-20-2015 02:47 PM

Will you sell the MS separately? :)

aidandj 08-20-2015 04:25 PM

Do they make a ebay v8 kit?

dieselmiata 08-20-2015 04:48 PM

OK, I have to ask.

When CX racing first introduced these kits, there was a lot of speculation of if they were garbage or not. Construction looked to be robust for a cheap kit, and several said they would be guinea pigs but I never saw any empirical results.

Did the jury ever reach a verdict? Does the manifold hold up?

aidandj 08-20-2015 04:49 PM

No. They break either when you install them or a month later. Pretty consistently.

Especially with a kinked oil line like that.

Even the new, thicker ones? or are you just remebering the "old" manis?

Its a restrictor, thats how the ballers do it.

aidandj 08-20-2015 05:35 PM

That isn't a thicker one.

https://www.miataturbo.net/diy-turbo...anifold-78894/

That is.

Twiztedmiata 08-20-2015 06:59 PM

It has been tested a thousand times over and failed a thousand times or more, this was just last night. How they still sell them is beyond me.
