1.8L Exedy Stage 1 Clutch + PP
Info from me:
*** REDUCED TO $115 *** shipped to you and yours
Distance to rivets: 1.15mm (as measured with calipers from shop class sitting on my desk)
Purchased used from PO running a ~200hp setup, said it never slipped, I never installed.
Comes with clutch disc and pressure plate pictured.
On the Clutch I found the following markings:
TA047A OK13A (008)
On the Pressure plate I found the following markings:
OE12AG225F9 MADE IN JAPAN
These were confirmed with Steve Kaminski from Exedy to be genuine.
Info from them:
Exedy racing clutches only use premium friction materials that are resistant to slippage and burst. Increased clamp loads give the necessary capacity to handle modified engines. Stage 1 uses organice material for street and light track use, for up to 30% more torque than stock. Pedal efforts will be slightly higher because of the higher clamp loads. All of the clutch discs have spring center dampers to reduce drivetrain shock.
Increases clamping pressure by 52% and will take the abuse of autocross and track days and low boost applications. Like the ACT HD, this clutch will also give you a slightly stiffer clutch pedal (about 20% stiffer). But the EXEDY clutch gives a more stock-like release curve....very much like the factory clutch release curve!
BRIAN'S APPLICATION NOTES: This is my first choice for a Miata clutch upgrade for those who want better than stock but without harsh engagement. We use this clutch in our own 97 Miata. This Miata clutch is a great for stock Miatas, modified Miatas, autocrossers, track day Miatas, and even low boost Miatas.

Just wanted to get some others to weigh in on whether there's a crack near the center of the clutch disc:
Also just got an answer from Exedy:
"Thank you for your interest in Exedy products. The compressed thickness of the clutch disc assembly new is 7.8mm and has a wear life of 1.0mm. At 6.8mm the disc is considered worn out and the entire clutch kit would need to be replaced. When measuring the clutch disc thickness it is important to compress the two friction surfaces together to get a proper measurement. If you have any further questions feel free to contact me."
