Default 1.8L Tan top injectors

Bought these used a few months back and I soaked them in injector cleaner for a few months. Installed them this pass weekend and my car ran lean. I don't know if they are clogged and need cleaning or I messed up. Not sure how many miles are on them.

30$ shipped

Just my $.02, there are eleventy billion tan tops out there in good condition and you suspect these are bad. They aren't worth anything in that condition. No one is going to invest the $ to clean tan tops. Please do the community a favor and dispose of them so some noob doesn't come along, pop them in and pop their motor. I know "buyer beware" but it isn't worth the grief. I know this is the ultimate thread crap but please do the right thing.

Why'd you dash my hopes holmes?

I have a set of tan tops, one of them may have locked up, and I was going to put them up as soon as these were sold.

That would be an idea...but not sure which one is locked up...and sombody would have LOTS of fun mix and matching 8 injectors trying to find 4 worth a damn.

Mine are free to anyone that cares.

Ya, I gave mine to a guy for free, even paid shipping. The guy rolled in here, started a thread that he was going to do a DIY turbo project including fabbing the manifold in a weekend on a super tight budget. I offered them free if he could show video of it running in 48 or so hours. He did it and I shipped them. It was totally worth it.

Never soak fuel injectors in harsh chemicals like; injector cleaners, Seafoam, acetone, etc. This can cause damage to the coil insulation and internal seals. Besides, you can't get them clean by soaking.
Trying to clean them in your wife's jewelry ultrasonic cleaning tank usually won't work well either. Any form of cleaning should be followed by testing to verify the results.
