Default 2 GT28rs turbos

A local guy is selling 2 GT28rs turbos from a Skyline. He's asking for $450 each. Is this a good price? Anyone here interested?

Then I'll see in what shape they are tomorrow. I'll pass by the shop. I may buy one myself.

Thanks

Don't do anything yet. I have to go check them first. This guy had a Supra turbo before which he used exclusively to run the 1/4 mile; he sold it and bought the Skyline because it's AWD. I know he's put a much larger single turbo in there.

I'll be able to tell you about noon tomorrow.

They have ceramic blades that like to **** out from what I've read/heard...so be careful.

Otherwise, they should be the hotness.

Pics:

I went to the shop and after seeing both turbos and speaking with the head mechanic I bought both.

I guess I'll have one up for sale. BTW, as you can see both come with Internal WG attached.

Sam, you're the first member of the forum interested. You'll get dibs.

Cool. It's from an R33. I'll keep both if no one is interested.

lol; I'm not TurboTim. I'm still amazed that my car is turboed and running!

Plus, I already sold one of them, but thanks for the suggestion.

Sorry Rafa, I jumped the gun with my enthusiasm on my earlier post. I'm narrowing down my turbo choice and my biggest requirement is that the compressor housing is "coupler ready"... I'll never screw around with adapters again, even if the turbo comes with one. You shouldn't have a problem unloading the spare.

Just for grins, do you have the exact specs, like diameters and A/R's of those?
