Double check that bullshit pricejack, sounds way fishy too me.

I'm just waiting for a local quote, will know tom.

Sounds like a good deal and I need a new clutch. 150K on the original! Count me in for a 1.8HDss and a ProLite flywheel.

Guys, I'm sorry, but the buy is off.

I just don't have the confidence in our list to be able to tell anybody for sure to call and buy. If I was collecting money up front from people it might be a different story.

The worst thing to happen would be for me to give the go-ahead, and have only 6 or 8 people buy, and everybody gets stuck with the higher price, or has to back out completely. THAT would effectively ruin our reputation with Carolina Clutch and we'd never have the chance for a future buy.

I tried my best, and it was a good learning experience. I won't be organizing a Clutchnet buy, but I highly encourage somebody else to jump on it and see what they can come up with.

I can reply with "boooooo"

For reference its usually better to get the prices solidified in the beginning. IF the cattle feel uneasy they wont follow you over the hill.

Although thank you for trying.

I need a clutch regardless, and CC has some of the best prices. I'd be willing to pay list, regardless.

Ben 01-08-2008 12:52 PM

Well someone should try to set up a buy with clutchnet then
