AEM series II EMS w everything (no injectors) to get your car running! $1250
I'm selling my AEM series II EMS. ($1250) It comes with EVERYTHING you need, except the injectors. My miata is a 99' and the injectors were RC 550. You could literally have your car running in an hour. Base maps already done. You could start tuning same day! This includes;
-Harness (adapter, no wire cutting at all)
-AEM UEGO Wideband o2
-AEM MAP
-AEM boost solenoid
-I also have a brand new AEM serial gage for an extra $100
The harness and base maps were done by someone who works at AEM. The harness is an adapter, so no need to cut into the factory harness at all.
The base maps aren't great. It just wasn't worth dialing them in and adding all the trims at the time. Just wanted to make sure everything was working, before more mods went on. I doubt something like this comes around often, and especially for this price.
Unfortunately, I can’t remember what years this works for. I vaguely remember certain years had a different type of crank angle sensors, otherwise it would have worked for more. Technically this EMS could run almost any engine. It just makes sense to sell to someone with a miata.
Series 2 Plug & Play Engine Management System
Let me know if you have any questions. Ill add some pictures tomorrow. Any reasonable offer will be considered. Thanks! -Eric

Genuinely trying to help here... Perhaps you can make it a bit more clear why this is worth the same as the new setup from Fab9? It's $1500 through them for the wideband, GM map sensor, AEM UEGO, EMS, harness, and boost solenoid.
I'm not trying to bash your pricing, but either you're priced same as new or you've got some nicer stuff that's worth more money. For other shoppers it'd be helpful if you make that more clear.

Good point Ed. And thanks for backing me up Andrew. To be totally honest, unfortunately I don't know. Wish I did... If someone more familiar with these products could elaborate, Id appreciate it....
In all honestly I had a hard time pricing this. I acquired it a few years ago... I need to get rid of this thing. I would definitely discuss any reasonable offers.

I think a large part of it is that you don't know what years it is for. Connectors and wiring varies greatly between the different years. So I bet a good number of people don't want to take the chance that the php harness does not work for them.

Well, if his was a '99 then it'll work for '99-00 for sure. Seems pretty clear, no?
The harness may plug into any NA NB model (I might be totally wrong, if someone has an ecu out from a different year please message me a picture the connectors. It might be helpful) I remember the style of OEM crank angle sensor was the reason it wouldn't run previous years... I think... and the fact that the later years have vvt doesn't necessarily mean the base maps wont work... This sounds like a college prep word problem.
If the harness plugs in I would think a tuner could get it running regardless, maybe new base maps but so what. The harness and whether or not it plugs in would be the deciding factor if I was buying. Ill try to figure that one out.

OP, do you have it advertised elsewhere? eBay? Clubroadster?

Based on the responses I've read so far, there is interest. Hot Wheels even said he would buy it if he could sell his Volvo.

Problem for you is, this forum is a bunch of Megasquirt fanboys. That being said, I sold my EMS-4 through this forum but it was pretty cheap, $500 less than a new one.
Definitely try eBay, and I'd really suggest clubroadster as well. Lots of traffic there.

^ i think the megasquirt monopoly is playing a factor here. Ironically this ECU would have a lot more support from aem suppor and tuner shops.

Not really ironic that an AEM ecu would have more support from AEM, but there are many shops that tune the Series 2 EMS.
It's all about running what your tuner knows. If your tuner knows AEM, best to run an AEM.
