Test fit went well.... Until you open the headlights. The arms were making contact with the tank. I will be making some adjustments and trying again.

I do however need help from you NA guys... In the form of a picture. I've been searching for pics that show how far the factory hood prop comes to the coolant tank but generally if you have a factory hood prop, it won't be down in any engine bay pictures.

Can one of you NA guys send me a picture in the same angles as these (with your factory hood prop down)

Yeah, I don't have mine anymore either. I just want to make sure there isn't any fitment issues incase someone who wants a tank still has the factory prop.

Good to know your tank will be good to go though

Thank You! We are good to go, the final tank is 1/2" skinnier to clear the headlight arms.

Are the NA tanks going to have the sight glass like the NB tank in the first post does?

Yes they will, unless you would prefer it without one.

I organised a mini-Group Buy for 6 NB coolant reservoir tanks to Australia (6 units kept it below the import duty tax threshold of A$1,000) and it filled within a couple of days.

- thanks for making these

Frank's tanks (good name for a product) arrived in Brisbane yesterday from the GB I organised:

One of the queries I got regarding the tanks was their capacity so here are the numbers with the tanks filled to the brim:

OEM NB tank = ~1200ml (OEM 16mm radiator)
OEM NB MSM tank = ~1500ml (OEM 27mm radiator)
Frank's tank = ~1750ml

ie. this tank will be better suited for larger (>27mm) radiators where it needs greater overflow capacity when it gets hot.

FrankB - Are you still making these tanks (for NA)? Is the price still $225 shipped CONUS for both tanks?

Yes, I still have a lot of materials pre-cut to make the tanks. I am currently in the process of relocating to Florida but I have to fly out for a few weeks for some training enroute. I most likely won't be able to get them made until I get settled in Florida in early December.

Quick question - what is your remote oil filter bracket made of and mounted to?

1/8" 5052 aluminum sheet metal. It's attached to the vertical bracing for the shock tower.
