I know I have been MIA lately. I have been slammed and have had zero time to make any since my transfer to the ship in FL, let alone unpack my house. I am trying to keep a list of all the interested parties and I will send PM's out when I'm able to get to you guys. This ship life is a lot different than I was expecting. Going underway for weeks at a time and I have a lot of qualifications to do too.

Frank's tank, brush finished with stainless steel scrubber, DIY anodised in black:

Apologies for the spelling of "beautifully", which I cut&pasted into the next image too :(

Q: Why anodise it?
A: Anodising produces a harder surface, less prone to scratches and staining.

Damn, that looks good. I'm on the list for one and was considering powder coating mine, but that seems like a great option too!

Hey guys, I didn't forget about any of you. I've just been in and out of port non-stop and the internet connectivity is shitty at best. Most of the time it won't let me load MT.net or if it does, the home page is usually as far as I get before it cuts out again. I still have a bunch of tanks that need to be welded up and just haven't had the time to do it. I finally got free time to fill my argon tank right before I left again. so at least I'll have a full tank ready to weld . I managed to bend up a variety of the tanks as well before I left. It's just a matter of free time. If I didn't already have a bunch of material waterjet cut and ready the bend/weld I'd say I'm done making these since its been a rough six months time wise. Once I exhaust my current pre cut materials I'm going to call it a quits until I transfer to another command with a slower op-tempo. I'm taking a week of leave in May, I had hopes of finishing another project for that time frame but it looks as though that might fall through. In which case tanks will be welded. I'll PM the individuals I had marked down on a list of the interested parties when I get a chance to verify whether or not they're still wanting any tanks. Thanks again to everyone who has taken interest so far, I wish this could be my actual job but the Navy has other plans for me.

Okay, so I went ahead and reviewed my list of people who contacted me with interest. below is the list I have, in order. I'm trying to prioritize the order in which I start welding these things so if you are on this list and no longer interested let me know and I'll take you off.

@JStoops - NA both
@demoniam - Washer
@nbdooey - NA both
@hedz0r - NA coolant
@Canada Stick - NA coolant
@Tim18t - NA coolant
@Texinteg - NA coolant
@Skomee - NA both
@tenthe - NB coolant
@M2Ken - NB both
@MoldyCatNip - Washer
@drizzay222 - NB both
@Ken Hill - Washer

As the list stands I have enough materials to make all the tanks with a few left over: NB Coolant - 5, NA Coolant - 4, Washer - 4

I spent entirely way too much time trying to tag everyone listed to ensure they see this post hopefully they worked.

P.S. Paypal info will be sent via PM only once a members' tank is ready to ship.

Will the garage star wiper cowl cover clear the wiper fluid relocation? I'm aware I will have to drill a hole for the cap I'm just wondering if this sits low enough.

I have no experience with cowl covers but I'll try to look at the placement of the tank tomorrow after work.

Just interested in the coolant bottle now. Ended up picking up a Nopro for the cowl. Let me know when you're ready to ship this out!

I should have yours ready to ship Friday. They'll be done tonight but work will keep me from shipping until Friday.

The washer tanks are the same for both NA and NB platforms.
