$300 for a mani that would cost $500 or more elsewhere. Looks badass to me, the welds are a little different than what I would like though with those weld-els i'm sure they'd be fine considering the thickness of the pipe.

I don't honestly know, so please don't kill me, but I'm guessing that it's difficult or not worth the time and effort to adapt a 1.6 manifold into something that works with a 1.8?

It' requires changing the head flange, it's not worth your time because the port spacing is different which would mean the runners wouldn't line up correctly. Keep looking.

Ah, I see. And I wasn't asking that because I wanted it, I was just wondering what stopped people from doing that sort of thing. I'm actually pretty content with the setup I have... for the moment.

You know what, i could be wrong on the port spacing, but I don't think I am.

I don't understand why you would build a manifold like that for a custom setup and make it a top mount. Maybe in a fwd situation it might warrant it but not in a rwd config.

try living in texas and not having a/c. Today the high will be 90, with heat index at 96, plus humidity from rain.

Try driving in stop N go traffic for a 1/2 hour with bright sun and 98f ambient, with the only breeze coming from other cars' cooling fans. PS is nice for city driving/parking.

Thats liveable for me. It was like that last weekend when I drove 6 hours to VA Beach. I did have some monkey butt though when I finally got out of the car.

You know the heat doesn't bother me.. what bothers me is the swamp *** feeling along with the shaking that comes with 4 hours on rock hard suspension.
