Arrow Bolt in BIG BOY intercoolers - NA and NB Vibrant Cores! AFFORDABLE!

These are bolt on intercoolers for the NA and NB Miata. I bought one initially for my build and figured I could save you guys some money by knocking out a few of these all at once.

These intercoolers are direct bolt on! Material needs to be trimmed from the core support as shown below but can be installed in about 1 hour. They bolt up using factory mounting points already on the car. I really only recommend this size core if you are making over 250 at the wheels.

With the use of couplers to accept the 2.5” inlet and outlet, hey are compatible with the Flyin Miata and the BEGi intercooler pipes.

Covering the basics:
-CORE INTENDED TO SUPPORT 550HP
-Bolts to factory mounting points
-Compatible with BEGi and FM ic pipe
-Compatible with NA and NB Miata. NB with AC has been tested and it fits. Unknown if NA with AC will work but my assumption says yes.
-Recommended for 250hp+
-Requires you to remove a small amount of material from your core support.
-Fits with factory bumper unmodified.

Intercooler specifications:
Approx. Flow Rate for this intercooler: 725 CFM at 1.5PSi pressure drop
Approx. HP Rating for this intercooler: 550 HP

Core Width: 24" (Overall Width with End Tanks: 30")
Core Height: 9.25"
Core Thickness: 3.25"
Inlet Diameter: 2.50"
Outlet Diameter: 2.50"
Inlet/Outlet Neck Location: Offset

Big boy core that really says “I’m not flucking around”:

Reinforced mounting points. Once bolted up you can really feel how solid the mounting is. This setup is ready for some abuse.

Price 300 shipped within the US. Please PM me for details.

Any interest in a 350hp version that requires no cutting?

Why would the 300 be without cutting but this one requires cutting? I might be but not now.

This core will support 550hp and the 350hp version is smaller.

350 = 20in CORE
550 = 26in CORE

Alright guys – Snapped a picture of the bumper installed. I’ll grab some better pictures when my car is actually rolling again but this really gives you the idea on how well this IC really fills the grill. This is one of the 550HP cores btw.
