Default BP4W 1.8 Core Shortblock $75

Shortblock from a 99. Includes block, pistons, rods, oil pan. The crank was hijacked to use in another project.

Before it was torn down, the engine sat in the car for a few months with the plugs removed, and some water must have gotten in. There is some rust on the cylinder bores. May clean up fine with just a hone, may require overbore. So selling as a core for rebuild. $75 picked up in Suwanee, GA 30024. Not worth shipping.

FWIW, all cam and crank bearings looked great upon tear down.

Will pull pistons and rods to sell separate. Make offer if interested.

Are you willing to sell the oil pan?

Sure. It's already pulled off anyway. Make a reasonable offer.

Now can I ask for a request, would you guys mind cutting the flange off? All I need is the flange? I need to 3d scan it since I am working on building a CNC dry sump pan. I am willing to pay extra for that?

Do you know if the 99 block will work with a 96 head and crank?
I'm local and can pickup if it will work for me.

OK, but let's give bcrx7 a day for first right of refusal, since he asked first. It's yours tomorrow otherwise.
