Seriously thinking of driving down to Jax to pick up this motor, it's just too good a deal.

Body parts only if you're local. I'm not shipping anything big. No mud flaps or lips

What specifically, was done to the head? Porting, polishing etc. oversized valves, stock cams? If I can't drive down to Jax at least the shipping on the head wouldn't be quite as bad. I'm still talking myself into the whole engine, it just would mean having to make that drive again.

I just went back and reread the first post, so let me amend my question Are the cams the stock ones, and what compression ratio was the motor built to ?

It seems you know what has been done to the head now but yes they are still the stock cams. I don't know the exact compression since I didn't measure the combustion chambers of my head after I ported it but I would guess with the 8.8 pistons and chamber work somewhere around 8.4-1

What shape is the dash and will you drag it to Houston with you?

Same questions about the front, middle and rear carpet, door panels, arm rests, kick panels, seat belt tower panels, seat belts, etc... I'm doing a tan-to-black conversion on my '92 C-package and need all the interior parts.

There was actually a change of plans and I won't be going to that school right now and I don't think shipping for all that stuff would be cheap
