Default F/S Custom built and custom Valved AST 5250's

Thinking seriously about getting rid of my AST shocks. These shocks are AMAZING...they literally swallow bumps. Thinking about getting rid of them because AST has pulled out of the Solo Community and I am pretty good friends with a MCS Distributor. The shocks are currently on the car and I am not going to remove them or order my new shocks until these are sold. These shocks have just over 1 season of Autocross on them (Roughly 400 autoX runs) so they are relatively brand new. I am listing just the shock bodies for sale but would sale the springs, helper springs and top hats if someone wanted a complete setup. My price is $3,800 FIRM. I am more than pleased with them and am more than happy to keep running them....so I'm going to stick to that price for now.

To be clear these are Double Adjustable/Double Digressive Valved, Remote Reservoir and are not off the shelf parts. Just these shock Bodies retail for $5,200 new BARE.

Bump for a great setup. I am running the same without the digressive valving. The custom valving alone is worth good $$$.

Are these the normal ast bodies or the xida bodies?

These are "real" AST's. Frankly I've had both and couldn't tell you what if any differences are or would be. Every single part looked identical.

Supposedly the xidas have more travel, though that might only apply to the single adjustable (non-reservoir) variant. If this was next year I would probably buy these, but I have bigger fish to fry than cnoverting to DA.

To anyone else looking, the amount he wants for these is what a DA conversion, re-valve, and double digressive piston would cost you on a set of single adjustable xidas.

^^^Correct....but you could buy these and sell your existing shocks and only be out of pocket about $1,500 for these^^^

And as for the travel...like I said...I've had both these and Xidas side by side and there was no noticeable difference (other that the remote cans)
