I'm making a game out of this, like Whac-a-Mole.

 

Raising from the dead to mention user bright78 (1.5 month old account) who told me someone with email address hector_harris@aol.com had some ohlins for sale for an unbelievable $1250. "Hector" would only take PayPal goods and services, and upon google searching has been reported as a potential scammer on a few other forums. Beware!

 

If you post anything in the WTB section, you will be bombarded with fake accounts trying to scam you. I had several spam me with offers after I posted looking for a decent clutch. Same deal “email this person” or “call this person” or whatever. Bogus. Don’t fall for ut

I'm getting the exact same scammers messaging me about my WTB ad as well.

 

Use the "report" function on the private message to alert us about such things:




bright78 and AlexdannyCool were both added to the Hall of Permabanned Scammers today as the result of such reporting.

 

Ah, okay. I didn't know about that feature. I've reported them now.

 

And they, too, have joined the ranks of the permabanned.
