The Monks Cafe has recently become one of my favorite Belgians.

Indeed. It's not the absolute best sour I've ever had, but it's definitely up there.

Lindemans Gueuze Cuvée René is perhaps the best sour I can recall having had, but DAMN it's hard to find!

Something like this is on the long-term radar, but in the short-term I'm not going to be turning any more wrenches for a little while.

I'm hoping that the '90 holds up for a while. I think I've got it in reasonable running order and, in theory, it should pass a smog check and be sort of reliable-ish. We shall see how things progress...

Not unless the mission fails catastrophically. If that occurs, then it's a possibility, depending upon the outcome of a couple of things that I'm not allowed to discuss publicly at the moment. We'll know within 10-12 months.

What are you doing with that SHURFLO pump in the pictures on the shelf? I have been meaning to pick one up for a little secret project for the bus. If you are looking to get rid of it, let me know.

Thanks again Joe! After checking some boxes the engine parts are even more organized than I expected.

You thought I was pulling your peter? I am the ******' master of neatly organizing **** into clearly labeled containers, and then putting those containers into somewhat larger containers, also with labels.

I figured they would be neat and organized. But you went Dexter on this engine. I'm surprised there aren't audio tapes with notes from you taken as you disassembled the engine.

Thanks again, Joe. New home (there's way more stuff hidden behind that door):

I only realized once I started driving that I was pretty buzzed and had to pull over for a good couple minutes to sober up. Hahah. Oh and I forgot to mention, what a weird sensation - being drunk, attempting to pack efficiently, and doing hard labor all at same time.

You seem to be implying that it's possible to do hard labor while sober. Clearly, this is madness.

Yeah, been here about six years. And I am definitely gonna miss it. Even though I've never been a beach guy, I really kind of dig the surfer vibe that seems to penetrate the very fabric of the whole north coast area.
