FS: ACT XT Extreme Clutch
For sale is a used ACT-XT 6 puck, sprung hub clutch. This one: ACT Clutch Kit EXTREME Pressure Plate 6-Pad Spring Disc Mazda Miata for Miata 1994-2005, 1.8
Rated for 405 ft*lbs of torque. It's grabby, there's about 1/2" of pedal travel between "off" and "on".
I bought it with the organic disk but swapped to the 6 puck sprung disk a few months ago as they are rated for more torque. The 6 puck sprung disk has less than 1,000 miles on it, basically new. The pressure plate probably has 25-30K miles on it. All in good shape, not perfect as they are used and were run hard at a drag strip.
Heavy pedal effort, grabby, won't slip. In fact I will guarantee this clutch won't slip as long as you install it correctly. I ran 38 PSI, ~500whp/380wtq through it with no problems.
These go for 600 new + shipping.
450 shipped to your door, lower 48.

Gonna drop the price 10 bucks every day or two until somebody buys it. Not selling a 600 dollar clutch for 350 shipped right now, but maybe in a few weeks if nobody bough it by then. Might throw it on ebay if the fees to sell there aren't too high, it's just on a couple forums right now.

For real. I actually dropped 20 on the post before today's post. I've had a bunch of PM's but then nobody buys it. I think I should just delete the thread, wait a few weeks, and then list it as "used, good condition" and not be upfront that I raced my car with a clutch designed for a race car. Apparently that scares away everybody.

I think its that those willing to spend the $ to have an engine with the output to necessitate this clutch aren't going to look for a ran-hard used unit to save a few hundred dollars, and those looking to save $ by going used have lower budget/aren't building 500hp engines, so a new $350 FM or Supermiata clutch is more than enough.
