FS: BEGi manifold, GT2554R, BEGi stainless SGDP

2 Attachment(s)
Setup comes off the car June 1st, so I figure I'd get a jump on listing it.

I am moving up to bigger and better things (announcement will come soon), so my current turbo setup is for sale.

MANIFOLD:
Bell Engineering cast manifold. Will fit 94-05. Tapped for EGR, but I have a plug in it right now. I can try and find the EGR fitting, or you can get a new one from Bell. Manifold has been upgraded to 10mm studs, and is drilled/tapped for a 1/8"NPT EGT bung (plugged right now).

TURBO:
Garrett GT2554R. Bought it off eBay about a year and a half ago. It has a little radial shaftplay, but no more than when I bought it 25,000 miles ago. ZERO axial shaftplay. Comes with a 6psi wastegate can, and it's already clocked for the Miata (inlet aiming at approximate the 6:30 position) and ready to go. You'll need an ATP compressor outlet adapter, since I'm keeping mine.

DOWNPIPE:
BEGi separated-gases stainless steel DP. Nothing special about it.

Turbo and manifold have had a matching brace welded into them by Dan Gallmeister at DGR Fabrications in Redwood City, CA. This was done to improve stud life, since the car sees heavy track use.

Attachment 205679

Last dyno chart: (stock '99 block, 15psi peak tapering to 11psi at redline)
Attachment 205680

Fantastic street turbo, awesome setup for someone just getting into the game. This is the most reliable hardware you can buy.

Asking price is $1150+ship. Parts will be removed from the car during the first week of June.

Marc D 05-24-2009 03:49 AM

would you part it sav?

Savington 05-24-2009 04:11 AM

Depends on what you want. If I have buyers for everything, I'll part it, of course. I'd prefer not to end up with a rogue manifold or turbo, though.

Savington 05-26-2009 12:11 AM

Nobody wants to go turbo?

kotomile 05-26-2009 01:07 AM

I'll trade you for lightly used Greddy hardware... :D

TwoScoopsofHooah 05-26-2009 02:24 AM

Savington 06-01-2009 06:04 PM

If you're interested, call BEGi and ask them if it'll fit. Everything was made for my 94. I have no idea if it will fit your 99.

Savington 06-08-2009 04:37 PM

Bump. Kit is off the car now.

levnubhin 06-08-2009 04:48 PM

Interested in Dp if you have any buyers for the rest of the stuff.

did anyone find out if it would fit a 99?

MiataMX5 06-21-2009 11:17 PM

$400 for turbo and downpipe

Savington 06-30-2009 12:46 AM

I need this shit gone. First $1100 SHIPPED takes it.

If you are interested in one part, post your best offer in this thread. If I get 3 guys totaling $1100 for everything, I will split it up.

newb ass needs to answer the phones when i call youdude

SKMetalworks 06-30-2009 01:34 AM

If only it was a 2560... ill give you 300 for the churbo. thats my offer

NA6C-Guy 06-30-2009 02:09 AM

If I had the $1100 right now I would completely buy that from you. Consider this a bump.

If I knew it wouldn't be gone in the next few days I would actually go take out the loan I was planning for the turbo setup and ecu. I don't want to ask you to hold it or anything though. Knowing my luck, the same day it will sell. Plus I was wanting something bigger than 2554 anyway. If it was 2560 I would be over it like white on rice.

Actually, tomorrow I will try to get by the bank and talk to them. I have the turbo itch and this could scratch it.

Savington 06-30-2009 04:40 AM

Sale is pending to NAC6.

Savington 06-30-2009 07:23 PM

Too bad he doesn't have the cashola. He's probably just going to go with a smaller IC to regain his low end. His current setup is great. Put it up on ebay Sav. Or part it already!

Just for laughs, what price are you asking for the turbo?

.

Savington 07-01-2009 05:23 PM

I have a few folks interested in the turbo at around $350-400. If anyone is interested in the manifold and downpipe, I'm looking to get around $650 for it.

you can use the turbo but not the manifolds they fit a 1.8 and you have a 1.6. So if you do a 1.8 swap this will drop right in if not then its a waste. Aside from the turbo.

Downpipe might work, turbo will, manifold won't.

Savington 07-02-2009 03:52 PM

Sold.
