Default FS: Built head, built 1.6 block, tilton clutch setup, 6spd tranny

Let me start off by saying that I don't wanna hear about how I should keep everything, etc..... I've thought about this for a while, and now I'm seeing if anyone would be interested in this stuff.

I've totally over spent my budget and have basically no money currently left over to turbo. I'm considering selling this stuff and just getting a turbo setup that will net me at least 200whp again on the cheap. Driving without boost is sickening.

The block has:

Keeping for now

The head has:

Keeping for now

The 6 speed transmission includes:

Sold

Tilton clutch setup includes:
-1.6 flywheel machined for tilton clutch cover
-7.25" Tilton cover with grey spring (Stiffest, might need to modify stock hydraulics, or send it to tilton to have them put in a lighter spring)
-4 custom discs from clutchnet with organic friction material. (2 for initial install and 2 whenever you need to replace them, no wait time for more custom ones)
-New floater plates and new pressure plate.
-The clutch should hold well over 500ftlbs with the current springs in the cover. I would personally recommend the cover be sent out and have the buff of orange spring put in. The cost should be pretty low to have this done. The cover has been balanced to 10k rpm. I will sell this for $550 shipped within the US.

You can view pics of everything through the link in my sig.

All the prices that are listed are thee because the forum requires it. I am willing to hear REASONABLE offers through PM or email neogenesis2004@gmail.com.

EDIT: I should add, If anyone is interested in the motor as a package then I can assemble everything for you with a gates racing timing belt, cometic hg, and ARP headstuds for free if bought at my combined listed prices.

Brian

i know you thought about this, but can you not just get another job or offer DIY head work for some other for some money, im sure there are some people on this forum that would pay you to do the same thing you did to scotts head...
i just hate seeing that much time effort and money go to someone other than the guy who put in the time effort and money
best of luck to you man whatever happens

I spent 50 hours working on one c++ project, 20hrs building a 4bit processor, and over 15hrs doing general hw the week before break. That is a common week for me at good ole VT engineering. I have no time for an extra job on top of the one I already have. I stopped building MS's because I ran out of time.

I'd like to keep this thread about my stuff for sale, not what I should do to keep it.

Thanks

No ****, bad timing, if this is all still available mid summer I would probably pick up at least the bottom end.

Does the trans seem to be in good shape? Input shaft isn't wobbling and the seals aren't leaking?

Well, I'm going to have to hold on to the motor for the moment anyways. Coming home from the machine shop today my hg blew right as I hit redline in 2nd gear. White smoke out the back like whoa, no coolant left in the radiator, overheated. I'm tow dollying the car back to fredericksburg tonight and I have no choice but to install the built motor so that I have a car to drive.

The trans and clutch setup are still fair game though.

I would normally say that I'm sorry to hear that, but in this case it sounds like a blessing in disguise man. You can always get another 6 spd at some point.

little does brian know, i drove down last night and drained his coolant. i pulled a Rican.....He'll thank me later.

although i should have been nice enough to leave him the spare parts he needs to finish the build, which he's ultimately driving up here tomorrow to pick up anyways.
