FS NJ: Absurdflow tubular manifold, BEGI & FM replacement 1.8l
FOR SALE: Absurdflow Tubular Manifold for the 1.8l. $450 + shipping, cash/bank check or add paypal fees, etc.
Prototype* manifold originally designed to replace BEGI & FM cast manifolds. No EGR bung. "Used" about 200 miles. Mild steel, schedule 40. Any BEGI downpipe for their cast manifold should fit this manifold at least as well as it fits their own manifold.
See dyno plots from last weekend below. This was on my car, internally stock '94 1.8, this manifold and my 3" bellmouth downpipe (sale pending on downpipe). My full 3" exhaust with magnaflow metalcore cat & muffler. 2.5" intercooler plumbing. 12x18x3 tube/fin ebay intercooler. I was even running the same exact fuel & ignition map as my TT setup. AFR's were good but some time could be taken making the curves smoother.
I was attempting to get 14.5psi to redline to match JohnDoe's dyno plots from the last dyno day (JohnDoe can comment on his heatsoak and/or boost drop off on his dyno plot used as a comparison). I would make 14psi by 3400rpm then drop to 12psi by 5600 rpm. This produced a peak of 264rwhp @ 12psi on the first run, 268 @ 13psi on the 5th run with noticeable heat soak (notice spool differences in below dyno plots).
Even with the heat soak, this setup produced an obvious and significant increase in spool compared to the BEGI cast manifold and their stainless seperated gasses wastegate downpipe (SGDP). Peak HP was also better at 12/13psi than his at an assumed 14.5psi. Again, he can comment on his peak boost at his peak hp.
I cross the 200ft/lb mark between 3200-3300 rpm.
This setup is significantly quicker than my twins at 289rwhp/245fl-lb.
Probably because on the street it does hold 14psi to redline, and if it follows the 10hp/1psi trend, I should be making around 285 @ 14. Almost as good as the standard absurdflow. 
*This is a prototype manifold. It's not as pretty as it could be:
1. I make one cut on the underside too big and had to fill in the oops with welding rod. Measure 15 times, cut once boys.
2. The runners don't perfectly align with the ports, but I smoothed them out pretty damn good anyway.
I'll take a pic of what I mean once I remove the manifold if it's not sold by then. These obviously don't affect the performance or strength. Of course, if it cracks i'll fix it or replace it bla bla bla it'll be fine. This tiny manifold is stiff.

Thanks for the pic Scott. Nice power even with poor air filter and 2 tight 90's right after the turbo 
Again, this mani could use all the fancy BEGI (or FM) plumbing.
I'll also wipe off the burnt paint (orange spots).

I am back to "game on"! If you'd be so kind to consider a 97 w/ 99 head + PS and A/C setup...I'm in. Don't really care about looks. I care about durability, fitment, etc.

Probably around $650ish with a magnaflow metal core cat. About $120-130 less without the cat. Less if I'm not busy (which I am fortunately). Seeing how you're in NJ that price would be installed. I'd also like to use it to verify my Jig.
