You have to crate them, and take them to the greyhound depot too. Easier said than done in my case. Are you seriously interested?
For the 6 speed I would pay $600 shipped to 47874. Since it doesn't have a shifter, I would need to know the year of the transmission... the shifters are different for the NB1 and NB2 6 speeds.

Let me know,

Keith

Sorry, can't do that. I really don't have the ability to crate it and get it anywhere. It would cost me money to crate it, and get it there somehow...

Where in LA are you? I'm thinking about your engine, is it missing anything in order for it to drop into an NA8?

I'm in Sherman Oaks. It comes exactly as pictured. Basically full long block, new Boundary Engineering oil pump, new water pump. I've got a new timing belt I can give you, and It has a new timing belt pulley, and new pulley boss, sat in place with a new crank bolt. You'll need crank pulley/dampener. Cam seals and rear main aren't in it, but I have them. New OEM. I can throw in an intake and exhaust gasket as well. I don't have timing covers, they were fubar'd on my core, and I never got around to getting new ones. I do have new gaskets for them I can throw in.

What else do you need?

so just a Crank pulley and timing belt covers?

I'm guessing the stock NA8 crank pulley I've got can be reused?

Sorry for the seemingly noob questions, but I'm no expert on engines. I just know that the current one I've got has seen way too much neglect (missed oil changes leading to stuck rings and one helluva oil burn rate) and is on it's way out.

I'm in the SFV as well and would probably have a shop install this thing.

I would search around here to be sure, some/most of your stuff will swap over. I would get a new crank pulley/dampener, but if yours is in good shape I think it should work. I think there is a difference in number of ribs for the belt on the pulley between years, but not sure if that was between 1.6/1.8...

Sort of a relief! I wouldn't have backed out on you, but after doing some research I wouldn't want to purchase a 6 speed without the shifter. A good aftermarket replacement would have run me $300, I see why yours is priced so low now It is a great choice for anyone already planing to go with an aftermarket shifter.

GLWS,

Keith

This manifold won't work with A/C or P/S unless you are super duper creative.

This manifold started life with a standard T2 flange, then was shipped back to me to be converted to vband/ewg with bracing and ceramic coated, and a GT2860RS. It's a mild steel manifold, 1.5" sch. 40. It's manifold #13 for you superstitious people Sept 2010 vintage. The turbine housing inconel bolts were cross drilled for safety wire.

GLWS,

So, I am going to be able to ship. Got my truck back way sooner than expected. Just wanted to offer it to you first, but don't feel obligated to take it. I'll PM you as well. If you wait for it you can get a stock shifter for way less than a short shifter, but it might take a couple weeks of part hunting/waiting...

Thanks for jumping in Tim. I actually sold it this weekend. #13 huh? I hope this one doesn't go down as the 'cursed' manifold...

I'm really bummed I didn't get to use it. I still haven't given up hope of building a nice track Miata one day. I've got my shell with the gold engine bay tucked away in a container in the high desert...I'll either build it, or wait for the Miata boom in 30 years....lol

I've got my hands full these days though. If anyone cares, here's the reason I'm finally parting out...I've got two cars in the garage that need my attention right now:

If it helps on the sale of the trans, I just found my stock MSM shifter in my mess of parts I got with the MSM. So if someone wants it to go in the trans it's available.

Not trying to steal your thunder, just helping out will be making my own FS thread within the next couple days.

Artech can weld the heater core pipe port on the mixing manifold so you use that, flipped forward. That seems to be the cheapest solution. BEGI sells a solution as well.
