Moved not too long ago and ran across this in my garage:

Looks brand new Mazda BP05 bare cylinder head. Some slight surface rust on some of the studs but otherwise in fantastic condition. I'm really skeptical this was ever used because I've never seen a used head hot tanked and look this clean.






What is it worth?
Should I even sell it?
What is a complete rebuildable BP05-4 FWD head worth?

 

Do you have the cam caps for it? I think that will make or break the $$-value of the head.

 

as above said if you dont have the matching caps to that head, its worth about the going rate for scrap aluminum, unless a spec miata guy wants to put money into getting caps and line honing a stock head.

 

I dont see how you "Ran Across" this and didnt know you had it. I wish I could find stuff like that. I think its cool when I find a dollar in my pocket, you found a head.

 

Don't have the cam caps, so I'll keep it.

Bought it like 6 years ago, so its pretty easy to forget something I've had in a box for that long.
