We don’t actually know what fit tolerance they used

What diameter/tolerance are you making your hub snout?
Funny you posted that, so that's what I based my assumptions on and used 54mm on the dot to allow for a .13 to .17mm slip fit. I double checked this with my wheel spacer supplier since they specialize in custom wheel spacers and they confirmed this size. I also test fit this on my Jongbloeds which was a snug but slip fit and fell into my 6ul's since they aren't hub centric.

I pulled an oem 14" 7 spoke off of my parts car and sure enough the spacer wouldn't go on without force even after cleaning up the corrosion. Once I had it cleaned up it measured 53.99mm -54mm so not nearly enough clearance for a slip fit.

I'm changing the snout diameter to 53.9mm which will correct the issue. I've only sent out two sets so far so this will be an easy fix on my end and I'll make it up to Sonofthehill for taking one for the team.

Sorry if this shook anyone's faith but things will be set right.

I think most of us wouldn't have noticed because, well, who on this group buy list still puts stock wheels on their car?

It's amazing how those little things like that will catch you off guard. I work for a small company and we run into stuff like that all the time. Easy fix though.

I run a set of the 95M BBS on the street. But need 5mm spacers to clear my 11" brakes though.

Howdy! Awesome to see some front hub options to go in parallel with the sadfab rears. Just curious if you have test-fit this over some 2.5 or 3" brake ducts like the ones from TSE ?

I'm running some home made brake ducts that clear since they are flat with the mounting bolts. I believe the singular/tse ducts are very similar and would work as well. These bearings still fit within the footprint of the ABS ring location so I don't forsee any issue.

Double posting to say I've got the machining corrections worked out for the next batch and started fixing this batch last night. I'll try my best but I don't think I'll get all of the 1-10 spots done before I head to the track Friday evening. They will go out pending payment early next week though since Monday is a holiday. The second batch of spacers are on the CNC now so I'll have spots 11-30 covered with one acception, I'll be changing to WJB bearings as the provider for the poverty bearing. Hate to make a change but I've gotten several good reviews from BMW guys and honestly I like the machining on them. If we have any issues with them I'll make it right.

Will this work with the v8 roadsters big brake kit that uses an after market rotor?

I would assume it would; my understanding is that the spacer is there so that the bearing has the same offset as the stock one for brake rotor purposes. If it works with the stock hub, it will work with these as well.

I think the inner diameter is a bit larger than the factory rotors. I’ll take mine apart and get some measurements.

Yes, these work with factory Miata rotors and copy the diameter of the miata hubs so anything that fits a stock hub should fit on these hubs.

Had a great weekend at Pitt Race but one of my fellow track rats dodged the big one. He felt something funny coming through the high speed sweeper on the back strait and it continued into 11, he made the right call to dive into the pits and barely made it to the paddock with the wheel on the car. This is what he found.

This was a Timkin with the less desirable machining. Needless to say he and a few others are jumping on the waiting list.

Good news got my hands on a dozen ABS rings, looks like for now I can do them for 30$ a pair, price may go up in the future and I'll refund 20$ a pair if you send me a pair to machine.
