Installed today. Awesome parts.

Struggling to get the studs torqued, though. Need to go buy a couple regular nuts to jam together. Not having any luck with my lug nuts.

Just to give an update to folks as we raced this past weekend- 3 races, won all 3 races in our class.. no failed hubs is a big win too! ...BUT we are going to upgrade to the Timkin bearings (in hindsight probably should have gone with this option to start with) ....nothing catastrophic at all --- just a bit more play than is considered factory tolerance in one of the hubs.. nothing that most people would probably notice but we constantly monitor stuff -- also in talking to a few of the E30 racers, they tell me they stick with the *** bearings (which is stamped on the Timkin's btw) because they last FOREVER and only need to be replaced if you hit something. *** Bearings are 'Made in Germany' instead of China so we got that going for us too! My advise to racers is go Timkin-- leave the 'economy' to the autocrossers and trackday folks who tend not to be as hard on their equipment.

SKF was the original BMW supplier, while *** was OEM replacement based on Bimmer forums.

Installed my kit today. Stud instilation was easy as pie with a bench vice and the rest of the kit went on perfect. Only minor complaint is I can't use the closed end lug nuts I had with the studs, but I knew this was going to happen.

A+ kit, glad I got it.

Update for the rest of the folks on the list, finally got a commitment from the machine shop on the next batch of spacers. They will be in my hands by the 26th. I placed a large enough order that I got some preferential treatment so hopefully things will smooth out from here.

For the folks that are running them any track day feedback? I know Chris and her husband have been making laps and winning races on them. We have had two poverty bearing failures out of 60 that have shipped. One made some metal with no slop, and Chris had one come up with .004" slop but no other symptoms. We're not entirely sure if it didn't have that to begin with. At $35$ replacement cost I still believe these are the way to go if giving up a session isn't a big deal.

So to clarify, to install these (or to replace the bearings) one has to do ONLY the following:
- Press out E30 ABS rings
- Press in miata ABS rings (after Inner bore machining) to new E30 hubs
- Trim front of E30 hubs just so that the spacer/adapter fits (this can be done with handtools like a handsaw or angle grinder it seems?)
- Press in some form of stud, or just use bolts instead

Correct, that's all there is to it. The abs rings are not pressed tightly so a 2 or 3 jaw puller works fine if you're careful.

The trimming of the bearing is pretty simple but of course I supply pre machined bearings.

I just noticed, the studs are not actually pressed in, they are simply threaded in?

How much would it cost to get these without the bearing itself, just all the hardware including bimmerworld studs?
Asking mostly for us Europeans, where customs and shipping makes it obviously cheaper to acquire the E30 hubs locally
