Pro Built BP4W 99 Miata Engine

Professionally built by Mike Haag in 2018
BP4W completely rebuilt after a spun bearing. New block and crank were sourced, probably other components during rebuild.

The engine was built for track reliability and over rev protection
This is not an all out power build, it will last a long time and make good power with a good exhaust and intake.
It's not a spec miata engine.
It would be great for power to weight based classes like NASA ST5 or ST6 or equivalent time trial classes.

I don't remember all the details, but the emphasis of this build was track reliability.

- upgraded valve train and main/rod bearings
- light head work
- thermo coated piston and cylinder head
- MSM intake cam
- oil temp bung in oil pan

The engine has been wrapped up and stored since it was picked up from Haag until just a few months ago.
The disassembled pictures were provided during the build process from the builder.
