Default HARD TOP STOLEN NORTH SAN JOSE, CA

Had my hardtop ripped off this morning between 12-6 am in north san jose, ca. OEM black with working rear defroster. Paint has chips on the side showing the white underneath.

Dude totally sucks. Hit all the different area Craigslist with a wtb hardtop any color ad for $1400 and see if you get any hits

I know this probably water under the bridge at this point for you, but did you have any locks on the top?

this happens every year around this time. last year i had one take from in front of my house along with many other people near by in one night.

Just security brackets. Lot of good it did me.

That's a bummer. I'll keep my ears open at Sonoma Raceway for any questionable tops that come up.

Good luck hunting it down. I think you got a good chance of finding it.

I used to engraver to put some numbers and lettering on the rear metal brackets of the hardtop so I could prove it was mine if it is ever stolen. Very hard to prove ownership with no specific identifying marks.
