Seems like a lot for a used bar... I'd consider it if you were closer or if it were substantially cheaper.

 

Try more like $350..

 

A rollbar is a rollbar. I wouldn't say its used unless it saved the owners life in a roll over.

I'm not sure if it's hard dog, but one of the roll bar companies will replace the roll bar that saved your life if you send it back to them.

 

It is hard dog and they want pictures of the car flipped over.

 

cool im trying to get some actual pics of mine up, it does have a small extra bar welded on from the previous owners head, it must have been too big, so his helmet stuck out to the side, and they made him have another bar welded on...

I am not trying to be a dick or anything. I am just letting you know as there are clear structural differences. Look at the pictures on their site and you will see what I am talking about. Even in the first picture you posted. It is clearly a different bar.

This is a huge deal. If the bar has been modified, especially rewelded, Bethania probably will not warrant it. Does it come with documentation on who welded it and whether it was done to the SCCA guidelines, etc.? IIRC SCCA has requirements for the weld procedure and penetrant testing. May not matter for someone who isn't running competitively though....

 

nope no docs, after investigating more i might just keep it after all. If i flip the thing, i want to live, i was already rear ended once and i think this might have really kept my car together...
