It has lower miles and some lettering on the valve cover that I have no clue what it means.

The trans is from around a 88 GXL, and should only be used for 5th gear once its cleaned up. It has been sitting in the elements for awhile (was going to be tore apart and everything but 5th gear was going for scrap). It was in a running car that had a TII swap before I got it.

If you do the legwork for shipping, 300 and its yours. Add 250 for shipping if I have to ship it. If its less then 250, I'll send you back the difference.

Its a LN. If it was an SN, I would of sent it to the metal scrap yard.

As long as shipping is not over 250. If it is, I'd either need the difference or I can just return your funds. I've been hosed on shipping before with big items, and cannot do it again.

I can deliver to a dock of your choice within 30 miles of 62704. Fedex is who I recommend. If you've not shipped freight with them before, they offer a decent discount for the first transaction. Figure weight at about 230 pounds after the pallet.

Can't say I've ever shipped freight before and getting on fedex's site I'm even more clueless... Comparing rates for motors on ebay it looks like its a little over 200 to ship to me in 28443. Not sure about their rates vs what either of us could get though...

You can do whatever with the trans. Unfortunately as nice as it would be to have a spare, the shipping is already gunna be bad enough :/

What I can do is once the 550 is paid, I will go over to the fedex freight drop-off and attempt to ship. If it is over the 250, I can call or text you and just sit at the station until the remaining is paid. It should not be more then 250, but I am just covering all bases. What is your zipcode?

that sounds good, I'm at 28443. Trying to secure the funds, just need another 100 bucks. Hopefully by tomorrow I'll be set and I guess we can just PM numbers when I paypal you...

EDIT** you think you could ditch the AC pump and bracket after sale? It may help save a little shipping weight, and I just scrapped all my AC components anyways...

Already ahead of ya. That alone weighed an easy 30+ pounds!

I forgot to mention, but the side of the block is tapped and it has a hole in the side of the oil pan from the turbo setup. I can always send plugs for the holes, but just wanted to make sure you knew it was drilled already (FMII kit was on the car)

Take your time. It is sitting in the corner sealed in a bag.
