I have 4 laptops sitting around currently, two I am waiting on hard drives for, 2 are ready to go. Both of the ones I have ready to sell now are from Acer. Quick fact for you, in case you didn't know, Acer is the company that makes ALL of IBM's products for them, all IBM actually does is slap a label on it and call theirs. If you buy a laptop from me, you can use me as support when you have problems, I am a COMP TIA A+ Certified I.T. Professional. I will include an adapter for converting USB to serial for free with each laptop. Both laptops will come with fully charged batteries, Symantec Corporate Virus Protection with free updates (not the crappy Norton, this is what is used on servers). So anyways, the first one is an Acer Travelmate 4500, it has Windows XP SP3 with all updates. It's silver and has an Intel Mobile Celeron processor running at 1.6 Ghz, 2 GB of RAM, 80 GB Hard Drive, wireless internet card built in, bluetooth, and 2.5 hours of battery life. Neither laptop has a serial port because they are too new. But I have adapters to converting USB to serial that I will throw in for free with purchase of the laptop!

 

I hate that they got rid of serial ports. Granted the USB to Serial adapters work great with MS, they dont work with the LC1.

Whats funny though, the dock that came with X60 has a serial port.

 

Umm, and why would the LC-1 not work with the adapter?
