Finally, put me down for one when you have them made.

Does this plug into the link itself or does it connect to where the ribbon wire/ controller meet?

It's just a replacement for the serial dongle, so it plugs into the ribbon cable.

AAAAAND they're done :). Took a few days but I was able to track someone down locally with a link so I could test it properly.

SO: If you'd like one, my paypal is jeffciesielski _at_ gmail _dot_ com

I'll be shipping these USPS priority.

PLEASE: Don't gift the money, I don't want issues with paypal (I've had that problem before) and be sure to include your address.

Cool. Did you look into supplying USB adapters with these?

993love 05-14-2013 03:58 PM

OK I'm new here so what is this little device used for.?

wfbal 05-16-2013 06:25 PM

This is used to connect the FM link ecu to a computer.

Jeff_Ciesielski 05-18-2013 05:15 PM

Guys who paid: Yours have shipped, expect them in 3-5 days.
RedCarmel - I looked into it, I can provide you one if you want, but it'll take a few days to get here. Alternatively, if you're in a hurry, amazon has them for 2.50, and at this point it would probably be faster for you to just pick one up and I can send you the adapter itself.

Hello do you have any left ?

Jeff_Ciesielski 06-02-2013 01:33 AM

I have plenty of these left. I can always order more as well.

Since someone just asked, the drivers can be obtained from the following link:
http://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/CDM/...0Certified.zip

Please note that I'm operating on the assumption that you are running AT LEAST windows xp. Drivers are available for windows 98 as well, but you will be out of luck if you are running something like NT4.

angeld1704 06-03-2013 09:31 AM

Payment sent
