Link to the one you are talking about? I just want one that is reliable and under $50 for all the cheap people on here.

If youre being cheap, why not just run without a BOV?

I too have 38mm Ebay BOV, it works great.

I can make it surge, but only if I purposly don't let off throttle 100%. I did no spring mods, just adjusted it to full soft.

If it makes you feel any better mine is starting to look purplish blue

The only downside to this little guy is I haven't found much else that fits this 38mm v-band flange, just this one. If you want anything other than a dull "PPft" I don't think 38mm Vband is for you.

TurboSmart Dual Port Blow Off Valve

I'd have to go through a lot of $30 BOV's before I consider replacing it with that $300 piece.

38mm BOV and Precision core IC have been ordered. Will be doing some testing in the near future with them.

I have some more pipe on order to get some mid pipes built. Once I get 1 NA and 1NB mid pipes done I will be sending them off to figure out if it is cost effective to have them completely mandrel bent.

While I am waiting for that I am working on getting 5 1.6 manifold and 5 1.8 manifold weld el's cut. Once they are all cut I will start getting to work on building them.

In for updates. I would be interested in Group Buy 2 if it is a more complete kit (similar to FM no electronics level of completeness). I'm lazy.

So just for the record, I have about 2k miles on this turbo kit already and I am still very happy. Just trying to get my closed loop ebc right before I post any more logs. Definitely spools to 13psi under 3 grand no problem on my 99.

With a 1.8 I don't doubt it, I can get 10psi before 3800.

These are my boost control settings, not sure if they'll do you much good.

Thats awesome to hear. Can't wait to see some more logs of spool and then your car on a dyno.

I put about 500 miles on one of my new setups this weekend. Right now only have it at wastegate and it definitely does not spool that quickly. I need my local Advance or AutoZone to get in the right size vacuum line so I can get my EBC hooked up and get that tuned.

eBay add claims they top out at 350hp. I am guessing on a miata they top out around 300hp. I have my setup on my built motor now. Hopefully I will get some runs of running ALLOFIT sometime in the future. This coming weekend I have a 1.6 coming out to my house to get boosted. The following 2 weekends I am out of time and busy. So I am not sure when I will get to running ALLOFIT.

I'll be having another group buy starting shortly. Won't be as cheap this time, but will have a few things slightly improved. I will be more then willing to take your money then.

I also don't expect 10psi before 3k rpm on a 1.6.
