Do you have a solution for the 4th exhaust hanger for those of us without the rear baby teeth? Is it really that necessary?
This is the hanger in without the tow hook installed.

It comes with the 4th hanger. You just bolt it in and go.

I was hoping to be a part of this buy. My new 01 is ready for it. Truck is being repairs and has to be done. Maybe I can get it figured out before it all ends. Someday for sure.

8 more days to come up with deposit money. Shoot me an email at mkturbos@gmail.com. I got several people on the fence, and we need 6 more to get the lowest price.

I have one more that should be sending the deposit on Friday. Should be getting on the dyno tomorrow. Could not get my EBC tuned, so will be throwing on a MBC and seeing how it goes. Hopefully I can get a few more people interested at the dyno day.

Meeting up with Carlos? Tell him to get it to a dyno and that my offer for him still stands.

Still struggling with closed loop ebc tuning, but I plan to watch and make adjustments while Nigel drives. I was looking over different logs and I think I may have better luck tonight.
Do you want me to dyno it even if I am still stuck on open loop ebc. I don't mind, I am happy to pay for it, heard it's on $70.

Yes it is still ripping and I have put about 3500 abusive miles on the thing with no apparent changes. Honestly the biggest problem I have is trying not to hit my overboost cut(205kpa) with closed loop ebc enabled, but that is due to my own tuning skill inadequacies, nothing to do with this kit.

Well if for whatever reason EBC never works right, I had great luck with MBC using a air pressure regulator designed for a paint gun. They have a big **** to adjust pressure, and a gauge, and adjusting the boost in 1 PSI increments was super easy. The thing just worked, ROCK solid boost control, and it didn't crack my wastegate until ~3 PSI before target. I was running an external gate on my setup, but still it worked very reliably regardless of temp/tune.

Yeah getting on a dyno with open loop will be fine. I just want to see a graph from someone who is not me. I would just prefer it get done on a dynojet.

The best thing I did to get a reliable boost profile was to add the gasket between the compressor and the CHRA. Then sealed the bolts that pass into the compressor with Teflon tape. Prior to that it just seemed I was chasing the boost (higher boost = more trouble making a consistent boost) which I guess makes sense now. I still haven't had time to get my head around the whole EBC scenario but I use a Grimmspeed MBC and the boost is set for 14PSI. It basically climbs to 14.7 and settles back to 13.9 over a pull. But it's very consistent.

My latest log; https://www.miataturbo.net/miata-par...4/#post1260674

Someday I'll try to get the EBC working.

Change the EBC frequency to 19hz. It gets a lot easier to tune.

It's not the DIY solenoid. Using the one earlier in the thread IIRC it's 26hz and sorry, can't find the link. Maybe I'll just install the DIY one I have. Thanks though, I've been stupid busy with my business and no time for the car.

Please record videos of the mk turbos on the dyno. I very much enjoy those.
