I count zero of the ones pictured being shipped. Is this a business or a welding class?

Well if they were shipped they would not be in the picture.

All 8 down pipes have O2 bungs. I have to clean up the insides of the manifolds with my die grinder and then finish the exhaust exhaust hangers. Then all 8 will be ready to ship.

I am about to start putting together boxes. Later tonight and tomorrow I will start sending out emails to people to let them know when I am planning on starting to ship everything and to collect final payments.

Various plans for most people. A good amount have no problem waiting, a few might go with a slightly larger turbo.

Not at this point. Some will do that, unfortunately most will be waiting.

I was informed yesterday morning that the turbos I expected to be hitting the shores right about now, are still being built in China. Long story short apparently some part needed in making turbo's I use is facing some sort of shortage so there is more time until they finish getting made and get shipped over. I am looking at other sources and getting a slightly different turbo from a different distributer to test out. Its a shitty situation that is partly my fault. I should have ordered all the turbos back in October, but I honestly did not expect them to completely disappear. This is the first time since I started watching them over the past 3 years that I have seen them completely disappear. Up until February there has always been 4-6 distributers I could get them from under various brand names.

I dont mind going with a slightly larger turbo. less work and resources needed so you can take a break from all the back breaking work you've done lol.

All turbo manufactures have backups occasionally. I know when I bought my Garrett 2871 several years ago form Tial it was on back order for a good bit. EFR's were on back order for a good while, while they had to fix their turbine wheels issue.

If I was to goto a real Garrett turbo it would add at least $1000 to the cost of the setup. That is exactly what I wanted to avoid. A small time of not having the turbo's available sucks at the moment. Long term it is just a small hiccup. Here is the comparable turbo from Garrett, it requires an EWG and does not have a v-band outlet for ease of downpipe installation.

Also if I had to go with genuine Garrett turbos or such I would honestly recommend people go with a TSE/FM/Begi/Fab9 setup at that point.

Exactly, I didn't intend to criticize, the ooposite, I think your setup is brilliant. I just meant that when dealing with China **** happens, that's it.
It's just that the guy above you decided to be mean without taking a second to think about it.

When dealing with anything or anyone delays are possible. Lars gave an example...

You're words are useless. You don't know what your talking about but you've just gotta say something.

Signed,
A big fat meanie.

One thing I want to say is thanks to all the people who have ordered setups and have been helping me find alternative turbos. One of them has found another turbo on eBay that looks to be an exact match. I will be making a phone call tomorrow to see if I can get exact specs and find out if he actually has them on hand. If so I will be ordering one to measure myself and if it is good, sourcing them from to get out to all you guys.

I talked to a distributer today and he claimed that he should have more 10 available. I am ordering one today to check it out. So next week I should have 3 different possible turbos on their way to me. Hopefully one of them checks out and I can get them ordered for you guys.
