Forgive the newb question: in another post on this board, Joe Perez is selling his old EMU. Would this be sufficient for use on this system?

I think so. The EMU can handle large injectors. I was running 550s with this kit, there was still room for growth. I think 550s tap out at 300-ish rwhp.

I'm looking for somewhere in the 230-250HP range. I want as much as I can get (being a greedy bastard), without risking breaking stock internals, tranny, etc. Obviously I'll need a clutch, but I don't want to get into rebuilding the lower end at this point.

Car is a fair weather toy, not tracked/autoX. Main considerations are reliability and driveability on the street, not absolute power levels. So, do I need to get bigger injectors right off, or can I run at lower power levels (and stock injectors) at first, then upgrade later?

Also, I don't have my mind made up on that particular engine management. Budget is stretched, so is there another alternative? I know people around here dump on the PCpro, but it does have the advantage of being cheap. I'd like to go MS, but if I do that, I can't get the SC. I am considering the JRSC that Paul is selling, it having the big benefit of being cheap, bolt-on power. But I worry that it will only whet my appetite, and I'll have to go MP62 eventually.

Stock injectors won't cut it with the pullies in the kit. You'd have to get pullies to lower the boost level. Stock engine should handle it as long as engine is tuned properly, detonation will waste the engine quickly. System would be rock solid reliable on the street, autocross, or drag. Open track racing would require more maintenance. If it's just street, you could pulley it for higher rpm and put down some serious power. I didn't do that since the car was open tracked, so I kept the rpms well within spec.

Is anything still available, TDR A/A IC, MP62 or the R4 manifold?

If you split the 62.5 and 60mm SC pulleys i'm interested in them.

Ahem, netting 2500 a week doesn't make you rich.

But driving a cheap *** miata helps.
Speaking of cheap, Nice price on the TD IC. I wish this was around when I did my IC. The TD is sexx.
