What is the advantage of Delrin over the more common polyurethane bushings?

 

Will the na rack fit the upgraded arms, or must an NB rack be sourced?

 

To swap the NB control arms into a NA you have to also swap front subframe and the steering rack.

Well yes, the LCAs inners will if you install them both.

 

Less deflection and frictional resistance than poly - more precise suspension movement at the cost of NVH.

The 1990-2005 Miata control arms are the same external dimension, just various bracing and endlink configurations over the years. the 1999+ upper ball joint has a slightly different taper so it'll need to stay paired with an NB upright/knuckle. The geometry is a bit different for the NB upright but will get along with any tie rod end 90-05. There is an advantage to be gained with a 99-05 subframe and rack however everything should interchange between generations.


I believe there were reports of the early variants of AWR having binding issues, but I've had no problems with these. with shocks removed and all control arm bolts tight they move freely through their motion sweep. I've been very happy with this setup, only changing because V8R.
