OK no offense but you are going shopping for a 911 Turbo and you cannot afford a digital camera?

Dude.. I have to say, I think it IS a bit about money. Just wait until you need to take that turbo in for service. As stated above, even a 944 turbo (which isn't the most reliable car on 4 wheels . . . . .) is more expensive to maintain than a turbocharged miata.

Believe me, I can afford a 996.. But theres a reason I don't have one. Service costs. I don't want to pay $200 to have the oil changed.. I could afford an older Ferrari, can't afford the cost of maintenance. Something breaks on the miata maintenance wise, its not cheap.. but its truly not that expensive in the grand scheme.

Sleep on it. Seriously.

When you're done sleeping on it find and drive a boosted miata. Make friends with an owner of a boosted miata, go out with them on a friday or saturday night and see what it'll do. Watch the expression on the faces of people as you leave them in your dust, the people who were dead sure their pile of **** is quicker than a miata.

Go drive a Porsche. You'll get once in a blue moon that douche stick in a Viper or Vette that thinks they're gods grace to the earth, and the occasional homo in his honda civic.. Otherwise, Wow. Its a Porsche. Sure, they're incredible cars and I'd love a garage full of them.. There is just something to be said about passing a 911 turbo, C5-Z06, RT/10 Viper in the front straight of Heartland Park, or whatever motorplex you're at.

Take those into careful consideration, then if you've still got your heart set on buying fast then well.. We tried.

I didn't know a digital camera determined someones net worth or income. I don't take pictures ever hell I don't even like being photo'd. I have a cell with a camera if need be. Please don't insult me when you have no idea what you are talking about. If these parts sell then great if they don't I will install everything then sell the car as a turbo miata. Just trying to free up some cash and take some of my personal frustration off my shoulders.

I'm sorry you are frustrated. I have a nice camera, and can't afford the turbo parts right now, so I get it.

I'm looking forward to the process of building my car, not because it's easy, but because it isn't. Every douche that has money can buy a pre-made fast car. It takes a special kind of douche to build one.

Keep your chin up.

No judgment from me. Just trying to make the same point made by some here already in another manner. You would be doing yourself a favor if you posted some picts.

I do just fine with posting pictures from my phone on here, not hard at all guy. Or you are just some simpleton trying to sound cool by saying you are going to buy a 996, when in reality you work for less than $20 an hour.

If I was wanting to sound cool it would be a lot better then a 996 turbo lol. Its not hard to afford a 50k dollar car there chief. And my standard billed rate to my clients is 90 an hour. That's my take home. It goes higher depending on if I have to leave

Having money means nothing. Making poor business decisions and taking things for granted is even stupidier. I work very hard for my money and play hard. I buy things on impulse which is how I have accumulated a lot of parts. Now I want to free up so cash and it turns into this. How hard is it that if you were interested in something to PM me and call me I send you pictures via mms and its over. Instead a bunch of people who have no interest in my parts are trolling on my thread and causing problems.

No you're full of ****. That's pretty much it. We were actually trying to help by suggesting/urging you to post pics. **** won't sell if you don't. It's just how it is here. You're the one getting pissy. I still say if you're balling you can throw this stuff away and it won't matter. I mean, that's like what, a good days pay? Psh, it's not worth your time ******* with selling/taking pics, time shipping it/etc.

Pat quit being a douche bag. I offred pictures to interested buyers by other means then posting on this forum. Why are you still posting? And I don't care if its 10 dollars or 10000 dollars I treat it all the same I was taught to value the dollar and not take it for granted. That was coming from a family who has had everything. Why on earth would you throw things away. I worked hard for what I bought. That what be a slap in my face. Lastly people on this forum know me and know how I am. I am very generous

"Yeah, and monkeys fly out my ***."

If your take home pay was 90$ an hour, First off, you wouldn't have a lame *** username like CA18DET, because at 90 an hour you wouldn't own any piece of **** ever produced with such a lame *** motor. Secondly, you surely wouldn't be piecing together a turbo miata from "old style" used second hand parts, especially the items you're selling. I hate to crap on your thread here, but this has turned to complete BS.

You wouldn't be shopping for a 996 turbo, Either. You'd man up and buy a GT3 or just a GT and would likely already own at least one 996 turbo and maybe even a 911. Your weekend car might be a Lotus Esprit, and maybe have something weak like a Viper for winter driving. And seriously, you don't even have a shitty point and shoot digital camera? Bull ****, man. You can buy a Canon SD1000 6mpx camera for under 150$ online now, which takes fantastic photos.

Come on, Get real. Pay stubs or GTFO.

This would be a mistake. Most people part out their turbo cars to recoup some of their investment. Otherwise, you take a 5K miata, install $1700 worth of parts, invest all of the labor and sell it for $5500. You won't get a premium over the value of the car + mods. You won't even get close to the value of the car + mods. Sell the parts for what you can get for them and then sell the stock car and be done with it.

Not a hater here, just stating facts.
