Turbofan's design is actually how I imagined it as well. Saw the first design on my phone and the pic was small so I just saw pink and the cat face on the center. Turbo around the needle would be better.

 

Sorry guys. I'm not gonna let this devolve into design by committee. The result of those exercises always looks like **** and no one is ever happy with the result.

If you'd like to order a tach, use the custom order form on my site. The proof I posted is just one possibility.

And please don't take this post the wrong way, like I'm taking my ball and going home. That's not it at all. I'd love to make something for each of you. That's why I'm putting the link to the custom order form. I just don't think any more can be accomplished by putting up proofs on this thread.

Josh, yes Adam's last drawing does have the kitty's head mounted to the needle.

I'm working on a design with Adam and paying him for the required design time. If you all want I am sure I could share the final design product and anyone else can order that same tach. Whatever works! I'm looking forward to my kitty tach for sure

 

Lol. We are likely working to design very similar gauges. Adam, are the gauges we have both requested very similar?

Edit: I just got an email from Adam. Turbofan and I are splitting the cost on some of the design work that is the same. Very excite!

A tray of kitty needle toppers is curing right now. They came out pretty awesome.

Probably! They're curing right now, so I don't yet know how many I'll have. But there's like 50 of them in there.

So far, everyone who's ordered a gauge gets a free needle topper. If someone wanted just the topper... let me post tomorrow and tell you how they are.

I mayyyyy want a needle topper, but I'd be afraid it would take away from the gauges you created. Yeah, I think it will.

 

I am going to buy one of the ones RyanG showed me on his phone but I'm waiting to see it in full size. It has the Miataturbo.net logo on the bottom.

And I swore I would never spend any money on showy stuff for the interior... damn it.

 

I bought an entire set today. Adam's finished product was... amazing.

 

Here's a whole bunch of tachs! I planned to take photos of them, and I still may, but who knows how long they'd be on the camera. A week turnaround with photos is unheard of with me.
