Default Sparco Roadster Leather Seat

This is one of the best seats for a roadster. Very light (less than 15 pounds) and comfortable. This one is unique because it is also covered with high quality leather. They usually go for $600 in cloth. Leather adds at least $100. Get this one for half of the price. Mint condition. looks and feels new.

My price is $390 shipped!

Sold

Is the Start an 07 with side mount, or is it an older one?

It is the older one. I also have the wedge engineering sliders/rails for an extra $125. Will fit both seats I think

Sam, do you mean bolt on the stock sliders? Not sure. I know it has been done before.

I have Sparco Roadsters in mine. They are a pain to install and require about an inch be trimmed off one of the shoulder bolsters. I mounted them to the stock rails and had to fab spacers and brackets but it's well within the skill level of the average MT'er. They're worth it. $390 isn't a bad price, either. They're not racing seats; the hip bolsters are small to make getting in and out easy, but they make great daily seats. They've never caused me any pain.

I didn't know they came in leather. I've been thinking about recovering mine w/ leather.

If anyone is interested, there are several write-ups at miata.net.

The momo start just requires 2 holes to be drilled into the sliders.

Yoram; if I were you, I'd ask the mods to close this thread and start a new one with the info on the Momo seat or at least change the title of this one.
