TII Transmission Adapter plate for miata!!!
#23
Pro job for sure. You need to post up some larger pics- specially the shot where it's bolted up to the engine. To see the value in this piece, one only needs to realize how cheap these TII transmissions are. I'd venture to say this the "last transmission you'll ever need" solution for under $1k.

As of now this is the first/only batch. Maybe others in the future with enough buyers interested, but the lead time on our hardware is a couple months, so they can only be produced so quickly.
All hardware is OEM quality or higher and generally difficult to source and not cheap whatsoever.

currently no, the problem has been the little amount of interest to this point. If i could guarantee more sales with deposits or something of the sort I could work on this but it isn't an active pursuit currently

But it IS the case with the FD trans/ rear end (and RX8 trans, but the RX8 rear end sucks as bad as the Miata rear end). The FD PPF is on the wrong side (I think the RX8 is the same), which makes exhaust clearance non-existant, but if you were shortening the PPF, you could probably add some exhaust clearance while you were at it.

Looking at the googles, it seems to me that you could use the FC rear housing and FD front housing. I'm not 100% sure that they will bolt together, but they look the same.

All of this is in the original post.
Building a bracket wouldn't be too difficult to accept the PPF, just requires the time do do it.
