Default Trade my GT2554 for your GT2560

I've got a GT2554 in great condition and am looking for a 2560. Let me know if you have one that you would like to get rid off.

Maybe one of those Comcast turtles? The 2560 might be too fast for them.

I'd go with a 2554 over the 2560 on a 1.6. I do think the 2560 is a better option for the 1.8 though.

Id get a 2554 for the faster spool, im not concerned with more power. But alas, all I have is a lowly t25 from an SR20.

Unless you wanna trade for that.

Sam, ur t25 is basically a 2554, only journal bearing, isnt it?

Im curious as to why you say that. I have a 1.6 and I've thought about stepping up to a 2560 some time in the future.

stepping up from a 2854 to a 2560? or is that a typo?

2 friends run 2560's in their 1.6's. I wasn't impressed by the spool.

I'm very impatient. I don't like to wait for ****.

Basically yes, but looking at spool charts, the ball bearings really give it an advantage. I do get 14psi by 3k rpm, but id love that even earlier.

I'm looking to buy a GT2554. I was using a GT2860RS, but put spoolup over power...

SR20 turbos from S13 engines are 54mm .80 A/R compressor, basically 2554 without BB
SR20 turbos from S14 engines are 60mm .60 A/R compressor, aka 2560's and BB

Check out the 466541-1 part number on the Garrett catalog and you get GT2560R

Very interesting, I did not know this.

These T25's have so little information on them.
