From a looks standpoint, it would be difficult to get the material to go over everything without messing up the weave, but doable. I don't think they would weight less than the fiberglass though. It is all pretty light as it is. Are you just asking from an aesthetic view?

Let me see what I can do. I need to get my fiberglass supplier to send over some carbon to play with and work a couple molds with it. Everything else in this industry has come down in price the last couple months, but carbon is still $40/Yard. Kinda sucks.
I have made exact copies of the Tuckin '99 flares for the NA Miata. $450 shipped anywhere in the contiguous states.

PM me for more info or if you have any custom work you want done. These are a built better than the Tuckin flares in my mind. The Tuckin flares are more brittle and less flexible, but weigh the same. There is also not a 6 month wait for these like with theirs.

The ones on my car were the originals that Robert used to make the molds....judging from his pictures they are EXACT replicas!

I can make it black, but black gel coat would add $25 to it. Black gel coat is much more expensive and I have to use a better brand to get it to come out right. Currently they are grey, which is much more forgiving and will be painted.

I can snap a couple pictures of mine if you want, but they fit/look exactly the same as the Tuckin' models. Mine are more forgiving to flex than theirs though.
