heh, yeah I honestly didn't read through the posts in this thread, so I didn't see that you had the same thing happen to you. I only called him once today, though. Yesterday I spoke with Marlon on the phone and told him I would get the car pending a buyer's inspection, which we set for 2pm today. I rearranged my day, got cash out of the bank, and got a ride to the shop. No call, no show, didn't return my voice message, send me a text, PM, email, nothing. Now when Marlon had an emanage question, he had no problem calling me.

If he wants to part the car, that's fine, but I was owed a courtesy call.

 

I say ban him. If he wants to blow off forum members like that, he can unload his car somewhere else.

I spoke with him about the car until late last night; asking all the questions i could think of. Seemed like a nice guy who wouldn't do such a thing. I havent had a car for a while now, since the accident, and was soooooooooo excited to finally have a miata to drive. He made it sound like it was a definite sale, no matter what. I called my parents, got the OK to spend some money on the car, and got the cash out.

Got my friend to drive me 2.5 hours to warner robins, thinking the whole time about how much i couldn't wait to drive back in a convertible. It was so depressing when he didn't pick up my calls, answer my texts, etc. We thought his phone might have died, so we drove back and forth down the main road in warner robins for a while. haha. Wasted my day, and my friends.

I'm so fed up with this guy. horrible seller.
